What is shown on Boostability performance dashboard? What kinds of reporting do you have available for agencies to provide to clients to justify the monthly expense?

That is a great question! What we show on our reporting dashboard updates often with the amount of information we are able to provide for each of our products. For the best overview of how our online marketing dashboard works, check out this page about our LaunchPad software.

Are you able to filter out bot traffic from analytics?

Yes. Bot traffic that we are aware of, like other analytics dashboards, is blocked from reporting.

Can you guarantee that a website hits page one on Google?

While Boostability has proven results with over XX% of our clients reaching first page results for keyword, we do not guarantee results. In fact, Google has said outright that if an agency guarantees page one results, to avoid those kinds of guarantees.

What's all this cost?

Boostability's services are priced at $40 per hour.

Article writing can be expensive. Do you offer that service? Is the content writing an additional charge over the SEO packages?

We do! On-site (webpages and blog posts) as well as off-site content can be a part of your SEO package with Boostability. Regardless of what services you choose - whether it be our SEO, Social, or Web Design packages - our services are all based at $40 per hour. Hours are calculated based on the number of keywords you'd like to include in your strategy and article writing is normally a part of that package. How much or how little you want is entirely up to you.

What is "black hat" SEO?

The term "black hat" first started as a term used in the computer business for hackers or people trying to hack the system. Since then, the marketing industry has adopted the term to essentially say the same thing; black hat SEO tactics are tactics that attempt to "hack" the system and are considered dishonest tactics. One of the most common black hat tactics referred to over the years is "keyword stuffing" your webpages and articles. This means adding so many keywords to your web page that the keyword usage is awkward and unnatural. Businesses used to try to do this, especially in the background with computer code, in order to trick search bots crawling the site and make them believe that page had the best information on it. Search engines, like Google and Bing are too smart for that, but often those tactics are still used today.

Should I still use keywords on the webpage?

Yes. Utilizing keywords within your meta title, meta description, and on-page keywords are still a good practice. The recommendation is to pick one focus keyword per page and do your best to provide more pages with unique content centered around that one keyword or subject-matter.

Do you run blogs through a plagiarism checker?

Our own writers are all part of the in-house Boostability team and plagiarism checking is automatically a part of the software we use in writing and reviewing our articles. We do not, however, automatically run a plagiarism checker on content that you are adding to your site outside of Boostability.

Is a competitive analysis necessary before you can determine how long it might take to get to page one?

Absolutely! Before we begin any keyword campaign, we will discuss with you a competitive analysis of why these keywords would be most beneficial and time-efficient for your business.

Answered by Caz Bevan, Director of Marketing at Boostability
Are there costs associated with being an agency? Do agencies mark up pricing separately?

There are no additional costs associated with being an agency. We offer full partner or reseller options to help agencies grow their business. It is up to you, as the agency, what you charge your clients above the base, whole-seller price we offer you.

Answered by Caz Bevan, Director of Marketing at Boostability
Do you use meta keywords?

Of course!

Answered by Caz Bevan, Director of Marketing at Boostability
What about SEO for AI?

We do basic SEO meta tags - titles, descriptions, focus keywords, etc. which can be read by voice command and AI features. However, there are additional schema.org markups that we do not currently do that can further increase the amount of information in your knowledge graph for AI products, like Google Home, to read about your business in the same way you would have Google Home read a recipe. We do not do that level of schema markups at this time but are working on incorporating it into our services. We expect that in 2-3 months time, we will be utilizing the full schema.org markup for onsite content.

Can we review content before posted onsite or offsite?

Yes, many of our Boost products allows you to log in to your LaunchPad dashboard to review content before it goes live.

Answered by Jeff Panting, Product Marketing & Partner Marketing Support Manager at Boostability
Is the dashboard white-label?

Yes, for white label partners.
